Here's a list of upcoming places I'll be speaking or teaching:
-- At 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, I'll be leading a workshop for Heartland Presbytery on what our faith can teach us about engaging in civil discourse. It will be at First Presbyterian Church of Lee's Summit.
-- At 9:30 a.m. on both Sunday, March 1, and Sunday, March 8, I will be speaking to an adult education class at St. Andrew Christian Church in Olathe, Kan. Subjects: To be determined, but maybe about both doubt and hell.
-- At noon on Wednesday, March 4, I'll be speaking to a luncheon that's part of St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church's Lenten series, "Final Thoughts." The church is at 12251 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kan.
-- At 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, I'll be speaking to the C&C adult education class at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kan., on "Why doubt can be a road to faith."
-- At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, I will be preaching at Lone Jack Christian Church in Lone Jack, Mo.
