Here's a list of upcoming places I'll be speaking or teaching:
Because of the pandemic, most of my upcoming talks will be virtual. Eventually I hope to have some live talks. Stay tuned.
-- At 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 19, I will be moderating a virtual interfaith panel as part of this year's Give Seven Days events sponsored by the Faith Always Wins Foundation. You can register for this free event here.
-- At 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, I will be speaking to members of Second Presbyterian Church (my congregation) and others (maybe including you) about writing your spiritual will. Email me at wtammeus@gmail.com to get a Zoom address for this gathering.
-- At 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, I will be speaking online to the Rotary Club of Overland, Mo., about my new book, Love, Loss and Endurance: A 9/11 Story of Resilience and Hope in an Age of Anxiety.
-- At 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29, I'll be speaking to an adult class at Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, Kan., on this subject: "9/11 and 1/6: What these terrorist attacks have taught us about responding to extremism." I will be drawing on my new book, Love, Loss and Endurance: A 9/11 Story of Resilience and Hope in an Age of Anxiety.
If you are interested in having me speak to your group, e-mail me details at wtammeus@gmail.com and let's see what we can work out. In addition to any subject I write about, I can speak about essay and/or opinion writing, blog writing or any subject relating to the six books I've authored or co-authored.
